Artist STATEMENT

Kasia Kay is a Polish-American painter and sculptor based in Chicago. She is interested in introspective and transcendent content in her work. Kay’s stylistic and formal approach might vary within each medium, yet common themes prevail in the works. Literature, history, culture, travel, and life journey are sources of inspiration for creative processes. Kay often challenges conventional methods in the art world, both as an artist and an art curator, through interdisciplinary methods and exhibitions in public spaces.
