Meet Chicago artist Diane Christiansen whose work is included in Elmhurst Art Museum's current exhibition New American Paintings: Midwest Edition. Learn more about Christiansen's evolving mixed media practice that includes drawing, painting, video, music and animation. She will screen excerpts of her animations that, in both content and process, address impermanence, decay and interconnectedness.
